Alpha Public Relations has launched a standalone service for businesses engaged in mergers and acquisitions.
Although Alpha usually engages with clients on a long-term retainer basis, this service can be offered ad-hoc to businesses that wish to inform the wider marketplace about a deal in which they have been involved.
Because this service focuses on transactions, it can be provided to privately owned businesses in any sector, not just the financial and professional services firms that make up the core of Alpha’s retained client base. It is also ideal for smaller investment funds.
As well as acquirers, this service is also perfect for M&A advisers/accountants/brokers who do not have PR representation but who wish to publicise the successful transactions on which they have advised.

How it works
- Following a discovery call Alpha PR provides a questionnaire for you to fill in, ideally in advance of completing the deal in question (Alpha’s client agreement includes strict confidentiality measures).
- We draft a press release, potentially in a number of different formats to target different media, and send it to you for review, amendment and approval.
- You provide photography, or we arrange it on your behalf, to accompany the press release.
- Alpha PR distributes the press release to relevant business, trade, regional and local media following completion of the transaction.
- Wherever necessary we will coordinate follow-up interviews with journalists, and brief you on the best strategies to handle these.
- We report back on coverage.
